Hybrid seeds replaced traditional seeds of cotton, sorghum & some other crops in recent past due to various reasons. The importance of traditional seeds will never be denied. The tribal and some innovative farmers have still conserved the traditional seeds of cotton, pigeon-pea, sorghum, black gram, green gram, sesame & some vegetables.
